Hi, my name is Amie and I am the maker behind Wild and Bare Fibres.
You could say I am woolly obsessed, but chances are if you are reading this you might be too! Isn’t it so much fun!
I have been a crocheter, knitter and sewer for years and years. I create products for fellow makers that are useful and bring us joy. I am inspired by sheep and many other animals, as I love animals and their brilliant personalities. Inspiration also comes from landscapes from my childhood home in Norfolk, my home in Devon, Cornwall where I visit often and all the places I have been lucky to travel to. I hope with my products you can feel that special sparkle that I feel in these places and when in the company of animals.
I make stitch markers, progress keepers, project bags, wool felt badges and wool felt wall hangings for makers and creators. I happily hand sew the sheep scenes, sew up bags on my machine, hand sew the finishing details to bags. I make my stitch markers and progress keepers all by hand and each has its own unique personality. My wool felt badges and wall hangings are made by me either hand sewn or machine embroidered. I use natural fibres where possible, choosing quality and natural fibres as a priority, I detail the materials used in each product listing.
